Missionaries Tim and Lynn Martin began their journey in Honduras in 2007. While on a short-term mission trip, God clearly spoke to Tim that Honduras is where he wanted him to be. The journey began with travel several times a year for 5 years to help another ministry in Honduras. Then, in 2012, Steadfast Ministries became a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and set up in Honduras as an independent NGO listening to the direction of the Holy Spirit and living life amongst the people of Honduras.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].
